Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a GMP Maintenance Technician III to operate and maintain a Vertex Manufacturing facility, ensuring GMP readiness and audit-ready documentation in the Nuvolo CMMS. The role emphasizes minimizing downtime, adhering to SOPs, and maintaining a safe, compliant work environment.

Responsibilities include PM execution, root-cause analysis, cross-functional collaboration, on-call coverage, and continuous monitoring of critical utilities.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years experience in maintenance and operations.
• Hands-on experience with electrical, HVAC, mechanical systems, and related equipment maintenance.
• Experience with operating BMS and CMMS.
• Knowledge of Pharmaceutical/Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Equipment and GxP.
• Familiarity with Job Hazard Analysis and Lockout/Tagout.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Complete work requests, maintenance projects, and operational assignments with minimal supervision.
• Escort vendors and ensure SOP compliance.
• Operate automation systems (BMS Metasys) and understand required sequences.
• Monitor systems and respond to alarms.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to meet objectives.
• Apply GEP to troubleshoot facilities and equipment issues.
• On-call duties on a rotating basis for emergencies.
• Maintain safe, clean working environment and housekeeping.
• Comply with OSHA policies and site procedures.
• Ensure training curriculum is followed and up to date.
• Provide leadership on routine and non-routine maintenance tasks.
• Perform root-cause analysis and make recommendations.
• Real-time monitoring of critical utilities including WFI/RO and PH/BioK systems.
