Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking an experienced Principal Facilities Engineer to support critical facility and utility systems at our New Albany, Ohio site, a regulated pharmacy/manufacturing facility operating under cGMP requirements. The role requires hands-on expertise in HVAC, electrical, water systems, EMS/BMS, and QA/compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years of facilities engineering, with 7+ years in GMP-regulated pharma/manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of cGMP and FDA 21 CFR Part 210/211.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical, compressed air, purified water, EMS/BMS, and related systems.
• Experience with IQ/OQ/PQ, validation lifecycle documents, and CAPAs.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site engineering for facility systems during Wed–Sun shift.
• Review designs, P&IDs, and specifications for compliance and qualification.
• Coordinate with construction and commissioning activities; ensure regulatory readiness.
• Oversee preventive maintenance contracts and CMMS workflows.
• Lead investigations and change controls for facility systems; support regulatory inspections.
