Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled GMD DevSecOps Engineer to join its IDDE team, responsible for architecting, building, and scaling the DevSecOps environment across hybrid cloud platforms.

You will implement Terraform-based infrastructure, containerized workloads with Kubernetes, and robust CI/CD pipelines, while coordinating with cyber engineers on STIG compliance and secure software delivery. A senior, security-cleared candidate is required.

Qualifications

• Master of Science or MA with 12+ years experience, or BA/BS with 20+ years in lieu of MA/MS.
• Active Secret clearance.
• Hands-on Terraform IaC deployments.
• Kubernetes containerized environments experience.
• Experience designing/maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Hands-on cloud experience: AWS and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Architect and provision the IDDE DevSecOps environment using Terraform.
• Deploy, manage, and scale Kubernetes-based applications for high availability.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Act as a system admin across hybrid cloud environments (AWS and Azure).
• Collaborate on STIG evaluation, security tooling, and deployment orchestration.
