Job summary

Banner Defense, Inc. in Huntsville, AL, seeks an experienced GMD DevSecOps Engineer to architect, build, and scale the IDDE DevSecOps environment. You will deploy IaC with Terraform, manage Kubernetes-based workloads, and implement automated CI/CD pipelines across AWS and Azure in a hybrid setup.

Requires an active SECURITY clearance (SECRET or higher) and strong collaboration/leadership. Travel may be required as project assignments evolve in the defense and aerospace sector.

Responsibilities

• Architect and provision the IDDE DevSecOps environment using Terraform for scalable, repeatable deployments.
• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications and microservices using Kubernetes for high availability.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to fully automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Act as a system administrator within the IDDE across hybrid cloud environments (AWS and Azure).
• Collaborate on STIG evaluation, analysis, and implementation; embed automated security and code scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines.
• Support deliverable and release objectives, create comprehensive documentation, and manage complex deployments.
• Travel may be required.

Education

Master's Degree + 12 years relevant experience

Bachelor's Degree + 20 years exp
