Job summary

AirPro Diagnostics is seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager of Manufacturing and Assembly to lead and scale our manufacturing, assembly, inventory, procurement, quality, calibration, warehousing, and shipping operations.

This leader will bring structure, discipline, and operational excellence to a growing environment, assessing current processes, implementing changes, and building a team capable of delivering quality products at scale.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, or related operations.
• Proven track record in turning around manufacturing operations and implementing scalable processes.
• Experience building manufacturing processes and systems in dynamic environments.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory management, procurement, supply chain, warehousing, and fulfillment.
• Experience managing the assembly of technical or complex products is preferred.
• Ability to identify constraints and translate problems into practical solutions.
• Experience developing suppliers and component sourcing; strong cost awareness.
• Knowledge of quality-control principles, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Experience creating SOPs, work instructions, production metrics, and operational controls.
• Proven ability to hire, develop, evaluate, and restructure teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead all manufacturing and assembly activities for current and future tools and hardware.
• Establish efficient, repeatable manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Develop production plans and workflows to support demand and growth.
• Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, rework, and unnecessary costs.
• Set production metrics, capacity plans, and performance expectations.
• Ensure on-time, accurate completion of products.
• Own inventory management for components and finished goods.
• Lead procurement and supplier management; manage lead times and quality.
• Establish inventory controls and cycle counting processes.
• Drive continuous improvement and establish scalable operations.
