Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Trade Compliance Program Manager to develop import/export risk management solutions for growing international businesses within Trade Operations. The role owns key workstreams in a complex cross-functional risk program.

The position reports to the Americas Trade Compliance Operations Sr Manager within Global Trade Services and emphasizes continuous improvements, stakeholder collaboration, and regulatory interpretation across North America.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute Broker Management processes and liaise with brokers and supply chain participants daily.
• Support regulatory engagement across the Trade space in North America.
• Contribute to objectives and drive improvements within your program area, quantifying impact with metrics.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders including business teams, tech teams, public policy, trade, legal, and regulators to interpret and apply regulations.
• Execute the rollout of controls and audits, including testing and measuring their effectiveness.
• Build flexible and scalable solutions across various technologies, business models/supply chain arcs, and country regulatory regimes.
• Stay informed on regulations and technologies relevant to your space and incorporate them into risk management programs.
• Present organized plans articulating the problem statement, recommended solution, and milestones.
