Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Trade Compliance attorney to develop and lead aspects of the company’s global program. You will provide legal guidance on Export Controls, Sanctions, and Customs rules and lead investigations and disclosures to the U.S. government as required.

The role focuses on continual improvement of the program, ITC compliance policies, and training content. A JD and state bar admission are required, with a minimum of five years in compliance law.

Qualifications

• JD required from an accredited law school; bar admission in at least one US state.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Compliance & Regulatory Counsels.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to the business on US Customs and Export Controls.
• Lead trade compliance investigations and manage disclosures to the US government.
• Collaborate with the team to continually enhance the compliance program.
• Oversee ITC Compliance policies, procedures, and program elements.
• Monitor and communicate new international trade laws impacting the business.
• Manage ITC Compliance training content and annual rollout.
