Job summary

KBR seeks a Global Counsel, Trade Compliance to lead the company’s international export controls program and ITAR/EAR compliance. You will provide legal guidance and oversight across licensing, classifications, training, audits, and regulatory engagement, partnering with leaders worldwide.

The role requires JD with bar admission, 8–10 years of legal practice in trade compliance, and experience supporting defense, aerospace, or government contracting environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of global trade controls and export regulations, including ITAR/EAR.
• Experience advising on sanctions, licensing, and cross-border activity.
• Ability to implement and improve trade compliance programs across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee export licensing, classification, and government authorizations.
• Provide training and awareness on export controls and sanctions to staff.
• Manage audits, investigations, and regulatory engagement.
• Advise on cross-border regulatory implications for contracts and deals.
• Lead compliance reviews of projects, master agreements, and partnerships.
