Tradewin, a leading international trade compliance consulting firm, seeks a Senior Import Consultant in the United States to research, interpret, and apply U.S. CBP and Partner Government Agency regulations, and to prepare client analyses and recommendations.

You will audit import entries, manage multiple projects, maintain timesheets, and contribute to process improvements. Travel up to 25% may be required; strong communication and Word/Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of progressive experience in import compliance or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to present regulatory matters clearly.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. CBP regulations and Partner Government Agency requirements.

Responsabilités

• Communicate with internal stakeholders, clients, government agencies, and external parties.
• Research, interpret, and apply U.S. CBP and Partner Government Agency regulations.
• Prepare analyses, opinion letters, compliance memoranda, and client recommendations.
• Audit import entries and supporting documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate importer compliance, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage multiple concurrent consulting projects and deadlines.
• Maintain daily records of activities and billable time.
• Contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
