Job summary

Worldpay is seeking a Principal Stock Plan Consultant to lead design, governance, and optimization of our global equity compensation programs. You will partner with executives, HR, Legal, Tax, and Finance to ensure plans are compliant and competitive across borders.

Hybrid role based in Cincinnati or Atlanta, reporting to the Director of Long-Term Incentives & Retention within Total Rewards. Requires deep expertise in ASC 718, tax considerations, and equity system experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or related field; CEP designation preferred.
• Eight to twelve years’ professional level experience in equity compensation or executive compensation.
• Deep expertise in global equity programs, including tax and regulatory considerations.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 718 and equity reporting.
• Experience with equity administration systems (E*TRADE, Fidelity, Shareworks, Equity Edge).

Responsibilities

• Lead equity compensation strategy and design of RSUs, stock options, performance shares, and ESPP.
• Align equity programs with talent, retention, and shareholder goals.
• Oversee global equity program rollout and expansion with compliance and scalability.
• Benchmark programs against market practices and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with global tax, accounting, securities, and reporting requirements.
• Oversee plan governance, documentation, processes, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Executive Compensation on proxy disclosures, filings and audits.
• Support M&A and global expansion impacting equity.
• Report on equity metrics and provide data-driven insights for planning.
• Support financial reporting, forecasting, and modeling.
