Job summary

Global Payments Inc. seeks a Principal Stock Plan Consultant to lead the design, governance, and delivery of global equity programs. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure programs are compliant, scalable, and aligned with business goals.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of RSUs, stock options, ESPP, and ASC 718, with hands-on experience in equity platforms and proxy disclosures. Hybrid work in Atlanta, GA or Cincinnati, OH negotiable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources or related field.
• CEP (Certified Equity Professional) designation preferred.
• Eight to twelve years’ professional level experience in equity compensation.
• Deep expertise in global equity programs, including tax and regulatory considerations.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 718 equity reporting.
• Experience with equity administration systems (E*TRADE, Fidelity, Shareworks, Equity Edge).
• Exposure to executive compensation design and Compensation Committee support.
• Mastery in Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead equity compensation strategy and design of programs (RSUs, stock options, ESPP).
• Partner with Total Rewards and LTI leadership to align programs with talent and shareholder goals.
• Manage global equity program rollout, compliance and scalability.
• Benchmark programs against market practices and recommend data-driven improvements.
• Ensure compliance with global tax, accounting (ASC 718), securities and reporting requirements.
• Oversee plan governance, documentation, processes and internal controls.
• Collaborate on proxy disclosures, filings, and audits with Legal and Finance.
• Educate stakeholders and manage cross-functional execution of equity programs.
• Support M&A and global expansion impacting equity.
• Provide equity metrics analysis and support forecasting and board discussions.
