Job summary

Nomura Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Vice President to lead software category sourcing. You will drive spend strategy, manage RFPs/renegotiations, and deliver commercial value through stakeholder partnerships and supplier relationships.

In this role, you will mentor staff, influence senior internal clients, and coordinate cross-functional teams across regions to optimize the procurement process and drive cost efficiency while managing risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• CIPS or other professional Sourcing/Procurement qualification desirable.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in sourcing relevant spend categories in a blue-chip environment.
• Experience leading commercial and contract activities including negotiations and renewals.
• Staff management experience and cross-regional team experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic procurement category plans for software spend.
• Lead RFPs and renewals, including complex negotiations with suppliers.
• Provide commercial advisory services to stakeholders and manage supplier relationships.
