Overview
Technology Sourcing/Procurement Manager - SaaS & Software. Lead software and SaaS sourcing initiatives as the go-to expert for evaluating, negotiating, and managing software vendors—from pilot programs to full-scale adoption. This role is an individual contributor but highly cross-functional, partnering with Engineering, Product, Security, Legal, and Finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sourcing process for SaaS and software vendors (evaluation, RFPs, negotiation, contracting, adoption).
- Be the single point of contact for software suppliers, from pilots to enterprise rollouts.
- Act as PMO for high-impact software pilots—track progress, coordinate stakeholders, report results.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Security, Legal, Finance, Product) to align sourcing strategy and manage risks.
- Run RFx processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ) to assess innovative SaaS/software solutions.
- Negotiate complex software contracts (MSAs, SOWs, licenses, service agreements).
- Build sourcing frameworks for both self-service and strategic deals.
- Track market trends and supplier performance to inform decisions.
- Deliver measurable results—cost savings, risk management, supplier consolidation, and added value.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in sourcing/procurement, with deep expertise in software and SaaS category management.
- Strong knowledge of the SaaS/software vendor landscape.
- Experience leading software pilots and scaling adoption programs.
- Proven ability to negotiate complex SaaS contracts.
- Strong collaboration skills with technical and business teams.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA a plus).
