Job summary

Trulioo seeks a commercially minded Senior Director, Global Privacy & Data Protection to lead global privacy strategy, data protection, and designated Data Protection Officer responsibilities. This senior role partners with Product, Engineering, Legal, Security, and Sales to embed privacy best practices across regions and products.

The ideal candidate has deep GDPR, US and Canadian privacy law expertise, with experience in AI governance, biometrics, data retention, and emerging identity

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading privacy and data protection programs.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR and US/Canada privacy laws.
• Experience advising product, engineering, and sales teams on privacy by design.
• In-house leadership experience in a complex tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead global privacy strategy and DPO for Europe.
• Advise executives on privacy risk and regulatory changes.
• Represent the company in privacy engagements with regulators and customers.
• Embed privacy by design into product development and operations.
• Build and mature privacy program operations and governance.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on privacy implications.
