Job summary

Trulioo is seeking a commercially minded Senior Director, Global Privacy & Data Protection to lead our global privacy strategy, data protection program, and designated Data Protection Officer. Reporting to the Chief Risk and Strategy Officer, this role will actively lead how privacy, data protection, AI governance, and responsible data use are embedded across Trulioo’s products, operations, and governance.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in privacy, data protection, or related leadership roles.
• Expertise in GDPR, US state privacy laws, and Canadian privacy laws.
• Experience as senior privacy leader in global tech environments.
• Proven ability to advise cross-functional teams on privacy by design.
• Law degree or equivalent privacy qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead global privacy strategy and DPO activities.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Legal on privacy by design.
• Oversee PIAs, DPIAs, data mapping, data retention, and incident response.
• Provide executive reporting on privacy risk and program maturity.
