Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead payroll operations across multiple states and entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. The role requires coaching a payroll team, driving implementations, and partnering with HR, Finance and Compliance to support business needs.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in payroll, 3+ years of leadership, and hands-on experience with Workday, ADP or UKG in a complex environment. On-site presence is expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive payroll experience including complex multi-state operations.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience leading payroll teams.
• Experience with full-cycle payroll processing, payroll tax, reconciliations, audits and year-end activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day payroll processing across multiple frequencies, states, entities and employee populations.
• Ensure payroll is accurate, timely and compliant; oversee tax processing and reporting.
• Oversee complex payroll calculations, reconciliations, adjustments and year-end activities.
• Coordinate workload and priorities to meet deadlines; coach and develop the payroll team.
• Partner with HR, Finance and Compliance to resolve payroll matters and improve processes.
