ZipHQ, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Payroll to oversee US, international and EOR payrolls. You'll lead the team, approve payroll before each submission and handle complex pay, tax and compliance issues.

The role requires deep knowledge of US multi-state payroll and Canadian payroll, experience implementing payroll systems, and strong collaboration with People Operations, Legal and Accounting.

Formación

• 8+ years payroll experience including 3+ years multi-country with external providers.
• Hands-on US multi-state and Canadian payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of US payroll tax and year-end filings.
• Knowledge of Canadian payroll requirements and provincial differences.
• Experience with at least one payroll provider implementation or migration.
• Payroll accounting experience including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Experience managing payroll staff and handling confidential pay matters.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills; collaboration with People Ops, Accounting, Equity.

Responsabilidades

• Review gross-to-net results and reconcile payments for each run.
• Build payroll roadmap for system and process improvements.
• Train and develop the payroll team and act as escalation point.
• Manage US multi-state payroll tax registrations and filings.
• Manage Canadian payroll across provinces, including ROEs and T4 reporting.
• Coordinate with EOR and local providers on international payroll questions.
• Partner with Equity on ISO reporting and NSO payroll withholding.
• Prepare payroll journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Document procedures and automate manual steps.
• Run provider implementations and migrations.
• Oversee payroll setup for new countries or entities.
