Job summary

Justworks, based in New York, seeks an experienced Senior International Onboarding Specialist to manage all aspects of international hires, including employment agreements, local enrollments and 100% Day 1 compliance. You’ll drive cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Legal, Customer Success, Operations and Product to close gaps and optimize the onboarding experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in onboarding or implementation.
• 1–2 years in EOR or international hiring is a plus.
• Strong consultative communication skills.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple high-priority projects.
• Collaborative team leader who mentors peers.
• Resourceful with a proactive approach to initiatives.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Zendesk, Salesforce and Notion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the full technical and operational setup for international hires, including employment agreements, policy alignment, local enrollments and benefits to ensure Day 1 compliance.
• Identify customer needs during implementation and recommend supplemental services (IT provisioning, background checks, benefits, etc.).
• Lead initiatives to improve customer and employee journeys and drive onboarding efficiency.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Customer Success, Operations and Product to close gaps.
• Drive process automation and optimization across workflows.
• Act as a global EOR expert guiding admins through country nuances and expansions.
• Manage timelines and SLAs, navigate roadblocks, and ensure satisfaction.
• Contribute to playbooks and best practices for new country onboarding.
