Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, international relations, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years HR experience with 4+ years in global mobility or immigration.
- Professional proficiency in Japanese and English.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end administration of expatriate, rotational, international hires and global mobility programs.
- Serve as senior point of contact for global assignments, relocation, compensation, benefits, and expatriate matters.
- Coordinate onboarding, transfers, repatriation, and offboarding for expatriates.
- Partner with Japan headquarters and U.S.-based HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Legal, and Tax teams.
- Manage employment-based immigration processes with external counsel, including visa petitions, extensions, and transfers.
- Monitor work authorization, visa expirations, filing deadlines, Form I-9 requirements, and related compliance.
