The ideal candidate has 7–10+ years in global mobility or international HR, with strong communication and leadership skills, and experience collaborating with vendors and legal teams.

Qualifications

• Business-fluent or native-level Japanese and English.
• 7-10+ years in Global Mobility or Intl HR.
• Experience managing international assignments and expatriates.
• Knowledge of immigration, payroll, tax, and HRIS systems.
• Relocation and benefits administration; strong organization and communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of global mobility including relocation, immigration, payroll, tax, benefits, and assignment administration.
• Oversee lifecycle of international assignments from initiation to repatriation.
• Act as primary liaison between U.S. HR, Japan HQ, leaders, assignees, and external vendors.
• Ensure immigration, payroll, tax, and employment regulatory compliance.
• Partner with legal counsel and service providers on immigration matters and policy administration.
• Mentor and develop Global Mobility team members.
• Maintain mobility records and reporting through HRIS and payroll systems.
