Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Category Manager within the Global Procurement Organization (GPO) to lead MHE components supplier strategies and serve as the strategic sourcing partner for Ring's Smart TDR and PERCH programs. This role involves cross-functional collaboration across GPO and Ring, driving supplier selection, contracting, and ongoing performance improvements for multi-site deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field.
• 5+ years of developing diverse supplier strategies and executing on sourcing activities.
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Qualify, develop, and manage key MHE component suppliers in partnership with Worldwide and Regional Procurement teams.
• Build strategic supplier relationships to reduce cost, compress project lifecycles, and improve capital efficiencies.
• Drive supplier continuous improvement, global supplier metrics, and Cost Out programs to optimize CapEx spend.
• Lead sourcing for Smart TDR retrofit and greenfield installations: installer development, selection, RFP execution, and contracting for 2027/2028 deployment cycles.
• Ensure installer capacity and continuity of supply across multi-site deployment schedules.
• Fulfill sourcing for Ring's PERCH program, addressing broader hardware sourcing needs with GPO best practices.
• Develop supplier strategies for novel technology categories, including LCC supplier identification and qualification.
• Serve as the primary GPO sourcing interface within Ring's program structure; align sourcing strategies with deployment roadmaps.
• Leverage GPO supplier networks, negotiation frameworks, and sourcing methodologies to deliver commercial outcomes for Ring.
• Lead special projects to reduce costs, improve supplier performance, and accelerate program delivery.
• Communicate strategy, execution status, and results to senior leadership across GPO and Ring.
