Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company, Inc. is seeking a Principal Engineer to serve as the senior technical expert for global manufacturing-process methods and standards. The role leads DFMA, GBOP, PFMEA, and NPI readiness, and collaborates across regions to govern process libraries and best practices.

The position requires broad leadership, coaching of AMEs and regional engineers, and the ability to present complex topics to executive audiences. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering required; advanced degree or professional designation preferred.
• 10+ years in manufacturing engineering and process definition for new products.
• Experience in high-variation, low-volume manufacturing and influential technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Establish DFMA and NPI methods translating direction into specs.
• Own global process standards including GBOP and PFMEA.
• Define ERP/MES-related process requirements and translate to equipment and tooling.
• Lead and coach AMEs, regional engineers, and subject matter experts.
• Lead Manufacturing Process COEs across regions and plants.
• Provide technical governance and drive continuous improvement.
