Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company, Inc. is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer – Platforms to lead DFMA/PFMEA for new product platforms and to define a single global BOP across regions. You will oversee prototype builds and pilot runs, ensuring best practices and cross-regional collaboration.

You will drive equipment needs, fixture design, cost estimates, and KPI improvements for Platform NPI launches, with travel up to 20% globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field; Manufacturing/Industrial/Mechanical preferred.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing with sheet metal fabrication and assembly.
• Proven project management and sound technical judgment.
• Experience with Lean and continuous improvement in manufacturing.
• Leadership and collaboration across regions for new products/technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead DFMA and PFMEA reviews for new product platforms and technologies.
• Define global Bill of Process (BOP) with input from regions; achieve consensus.
• Oversee prototype manufacture and pilot builds across regions.
• Identify and specify new equipment/technology for Platform NPI launches.
• Design fixtures and tooling to support safe, consistent manufacturing globally.
• Incorporate BAC best practices into platform manufacturing processes.
• Provide project management for NPI manufacturing aspects.
• Drive improvements and KPIs for Platform NPI launches.
• Support cost estimates and recommendations for new platforms/tech.
