Job summary

General Logistics Systems US, Inc. is seeking a General Counsel to act as the company’s chief legal officer, providing strategic legal advice to the CEO and Board, and managing risk across the enterprise.

The role focuses on governance, regulatory compliance, and international logistics issues. The successful candidate will lead the legal team, oversee complex contracts and vendor relationships, and collaborate with Operations, HR, and Finance to ensure compliant business execution.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active US license.
• 8–12 years of progressive legal experience with senior leadership.
• Experience in corporate, commercial, or regulatory law; in-house preferred.
• Experience advising Boards and executive leadership; managing litigation.

Responsibilities

• Advise the CEO, executive leadership, and Board on legal strategy and risk.
• Oversee contracts, governance, compliance, and regulatory matters.
• Lead litigation strategy and manage outside counsel.
• Align legal strategy with operations and supply chain leadership.
