Job summary

SRS Distribution seeks a Vice President and Assistant General Counsel - Supply Chain to oversee legal strategy for North American supply chain operations, including private label agreements, EHS compliance and ESG reporting.

The role negotiates vendor contracts, oversees compliance programs, and guides litigation, reporting to the SVP, Deputy General Counsel. Travel approx. 10% is anticipated.

Qualifications

• The JD or equivalent and required certifications for practicing law.
• 8-10 years of related work experience.
• Experience handling supply chain contracts with emphasis on compliance and regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity with complex commercial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements with vendors, including product supply agreements and private label distribution agreements.
• Develop and administer supplier qualification and compliance programs and audits.
• Develop, maintain and enhance contract lifecycle management and compliance policies.
• Oversee supply chain litigation matters and manage outside counsel and budgets.
• Advise on applicable U.S. federal and state laws and regulations affecting operations, including EPA, FMCSA, DOT, OSHA, Prop 65, and related labeling requirements.
• Support sustainability reporting (GHG scopes 1, 2, and 3) across verticals.
