Job summary

General Logistics Systems US is seeking a Chief Legal Officer to provide strategic legal counsel to the CEO, executive team, and Board, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and managing enterprise-wide legal risk across domestic and international supply chains. The role oversees contracts, governance, regulatory compliance, employment law, litigation, and external counsel.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice in at least one US jurisdiction.
• 8–12 years of progressive legal experience, including senior leadership.
• In-house/industry experience in logistics or supply chain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise CEO, exec team, and Board on legal matters.
• Oversee contracts, governance, compliance, and litigation.
