Job summary

Coder is expanding its People team and seeking an HRBP to partner with R&D leaders and lead international employment initiatives, including UK and EOR processes. The role involves collaborating with a London-based Generalist and outside UK counsel to ensure compliant employment structures across markets.

You will drive performance cycles, compensation, and leveling for the pod, while building scalable country playbooks and maintaining accurate data in payroll systems across time zones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HRBP experience, including employee relations, with meaningful UK and/or international exposure.
• Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and familiarity with EOR models and their limitations.
• Hands-on experience with HRIS tools such as Rippling and/or Deel.
• Comfort working independently across time zones with overlap in UK hours.

Responsibilities

• Partner with R&D leaders on performance, org design, employee relations, and people strategy.
• Advise on international ER and org changes under local law, with outside counsel when needed.
• Help build UK employment infrastructure with Legal and Finance: contracts, probation, and leave policies.
• Oversee EOR relationships (Deel, Rippling) and plan path to direct employment.
