Qualifications

• J.D. degree with active California State Bar license or eligible for in-house status.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in corporate in-house departments or law firms.
• Strong governance, contract negotiation, compliance, and litigation management expertise.

Responsibilities

• Executive Advisory & Governance: Advise CEO and executive team; maintain corporate records and governance policies.
• Legal Operations & Risk Management: Lead corporate legal strategy, budgets, policies, and litigation oversight across the region.
• Commercial Contracts & M&A: Review and negotiate complex agreements; support due diligence and post-merger integration.
• Compliance & Outside Counsel Oversight: Co-lead enterprise compliance; manage outside counsel relationships and costs.
• Team Leadership & Leadership Support: Supervise regional legal team (3 reports) and collaborate cross-functionally.
