Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. is seeking a Senior Freight Forwarder for Import/Export to manage international and domestic shipments from origin through delivery.

You will serve as the main liaison among suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, and brokers, ensuring compliant and efficient processes with a focus on cost optimization. The ideal candidate excels in organization, analysis, and service orientation, and can work independently in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a relevant field (preferred).
• Proven experience in managing high volume import and export shipments in the US from A to Z.
• Experience with international freight forwarders, domestic carriers and customs brokers.
• Experience handling temperature-controlled shipments and hazardous materials (preferred).
• Knowledge of Incoterms and US customs processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage high volume shipments across air, ocean, and road.
• Coordinate shipments with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
• Oversee customs clearance with brokers and authorities.
• Prepare and manage required documents (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, COO, AES Filing).
• Monitor regulatory compliance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
