Job summary

Outpost is hiring a Senior Events Manager to plan and execute high-impact internal and external events that build culture and reinforce our leadership in through-space logistics. You’ll own event strategy, budgets, and vendor management across employee engagement, customer visits, media gatherings, and industry activations.

The role requires hands-on execution in a fast-paced, technical environment with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing complex B2B events, trade shows, or experiential programs.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or regulated industries.
• Strong project management and budget skills.
• Ability to coordinate with senior leadership and VIP stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own event strategy and calendar for internal and external events.
• Manage end-to-end execution: timelines, budgets, vendor contracts, logistics.
• Lead internal events: culture moments, offsites, employee engagement.
• Lead external events: VIP visits, dinners, demos, media events.
• Oversee trade shows and activations: booth logistics and coordination.
• Collaborate across Marketing, BD, Ops, IT, Facilities, Security, and leadership.
• Negotiate vendors and manage spend to stay on budget.
• Ensure compliance with confidentiality and export-control requirements.
• Define KPIs and deliver post-event recaps.
