Job summary

MRI Software is seeking a Senior Counsel, Employment & Litigation to join its Global Legal team in a strategic advisory role on employment law and litigation matters worldwide. You will partner with HR, business leaders, and the broader Legal group to mitigate risk and support growth.

The ideal candidate will have strong employment law knowledge, significant litigation management experience, and a track record in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school; active bar membership.
• 7+ years of employment law and litigation experience, including in-house work.
• Experience advising on employee relations, investigations, policies, accommodation and leave issues.
• Experience managing outside counsel and legal budgets.
• Strong research, writing, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and provide practical business-focused legal advice.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal counsel on employment-related matters to HR and business leaders.
• Oversee employment litigation portfolio and coordinate outside counsel across jurisdictions.
• Develop and interpret employment policies and training for managers and employees.
• Lead internal investigations and risk mitigation initiatives in collaboration with Compliance and HR.
• Draft and negotiate employment-related agreements; support acquisitions and integrations.
