insightsoftware seeks a Managing Counsel, Employment, Disputes & Litigation to lead its global disputes and litigation function within the GRCD team. The role covers employment, commercial, IP, and regulatory matters across 40+ countries, reporting to the SVP & Head of Global Legal Affairs & Compliance.

The ideal candidate is an experienced employment lawyer with a strong track record in managing a disputes docket, budgeting, and leading a team of at least three, with cross-border capabilities

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and bar membership in at least one U.S. state.
• 7+ years of legal experience in employment law, with in-house and/or Am Law 100 firm experience preferred.
• Experience managing disputes and litigation including administrative proceedings and civil litigation.
• Proven people-management experience managing a team of at least three people.
• Ability to handle cross-border matters and engage with local counsel.

Responsabilités

• Own and manage the global disputes and litigation docket across all matter types.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and manage budgets and billing guidelines.
• Advise on settlement strategies with senior leadership and business stakeholders.
• Provide employment-related guidance across insightsoftware's international footprint.
• Lead and develop a high-performing disputes team.
