Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Senior Global Commodity Manager – Chemicals Reagents to lead enterprise-wide commodity strategy, sourcing, and supplier partnerships across waste-to-energy and industrial facilities.

You will manage a broad portfolio including lime, ammonia, urea, water and wastewater-treatment chemicals, carbon products, industrial gases, and lubricants while driving total-cost improvements and supply reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with chemistry/chemical engineering emphasis is required.
• At least 7 years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or commodity management.
• Experience in chemical industry procurement or related technical background plus sourcing.
• Experience leading competitive sourcing events and complex supply agreements.
• Ability to travel to operating facilities and supplier locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise-wide commodity strategies for chemicals and reagents.
• Lead sourcing processes: market analysis, RFI/RFP/RFQ, supplier evaluation and negotiations.
• Build strategic supplier relationships and lead business reviews.
• Drive cost reduction, quality improvement, and supply reliability.
• Coordinate with Operations, Logistics, and Finance on supply optimization.
• Support supplier qualification, plant trials, and risk assessments.
• Monitor markets, costs, and supply risks; implement contingencies.
