Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Senior Global Commodity Manager - Chemicals Reagents to lead enterprise-wide strategy, sourcing, and supplier partnerships for chemicals used across waste-to-energy plants and industrial operations.

The role focuses on lime, ammonia, urea, water and wastewater-treatment chemicals, carbon products, industrial gases, lubricants, and related reagents, with cross-functional collaboration and a focus on total-cost improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, procurement, supply chain, or commercial management.
• Experience within the chemical industry procurement or a chemistry/engineering background with procurement experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise-wide commodity strategies for chemicals and reagents.
• Lead the sourcing process, including market analysis, RFx, supplier evaluation, and negotiations.
• Build and manage relationships with key chemical and reagent suppliers.
• Lead supplier business reviews, scorecards, escalations, and joint improvement plans.
• Monitor costs, quality, service, and supply continuity across facilities.
