Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Senior Global Commodity Manager - Chemicals Reagents to lead enterprise-wide commodity strategy and sourcing across waste-to-energy and industrial facilities. You will manage portfolios including lime, ammonia, urea, water and wastewater-treatment chemicals, carbon products, gases, lubricants, and related reagents.

This senior individual-contributor role partners with Operations, Finance, Legal and Logistics to improve total cost, quality, service, and supply reliability,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business.
• 7+ years in strategic sourcing, commodity management, procurement, supply chain, or commercial management.
• Experience in chemical industry procurement or related technical background with procurement exposure.
• Experience developing and executing category or commodity strategies.
• Proven success managing strategic suppliers and improving supplier performance.
• Experience leading competitive sourcing events and negotiating complex supply agreements.
• Ability to understand chemical applications, specifications, cost drivers, logistics and risks.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to travel to operating facilities and supplier locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise-wide commodity strategies for chemicals and reagents.
• Lead the complete sourcing process from market analysis to contract implementation and benefit tracking.
• Build and manage strategic relationships with key chemical and reagent suppliers.
• Lead supplier business reviews, scorecards, escalations, and joint improvement plans.
• Hold suppliers accountable for cost, quality, service, delivery, and supply continuity.
• Coordinate with Operations, Logistics to optimize freight, inventory levels, and supply reliability.
• Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, standardization, and total-cost improvement.
• Balance enterprise strategies with site-specific technical and operational requirements.
• Travel to facilities and supplier locations as needed.
