Job summary

Reworld Waste seeks a Senior Global Commodity Manager – Chemicals Reagents to lead enterprise-wide commodity strategy and sourcing for chemicals used across waste-to-energy plants and facilities. You will manage a broad portfolio including lime, ammonia, urea, water and wastewater chemicals, carbon products, and industrial gases, driving cost optimization and supplier collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in strategic sourcing, commodity management, procurement, supply chain, or commercial management.
• Experience in strategic supplier management and improving supplier performance.
• Experience leading competitive sourcing events and negotiating complex supply agreements.
• Ability to understand chemical applications, specifications, cost drivers, logistics, storage, handling requirements, and supply risks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise-wide commodity strategies for chemicals and reagents.
• Lead the complete sourcing process: market analysis, RFIs/RFPs/RFQs, supplier evaluation, negotiation, contracting, implementation, and benefit tracking.
• Build and manage strategic relationships with key chemical and reagent suppliers.
• Lead supplier reviews, scorecards, escalations, and joint improvement plans.
• Ensure cost, safety, quality, service, delivery, and supply continuity across suppliers.
• Partner with Operations, Logistics, and other functions to optimize freight, inventory, and supply reliability.
