Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Senior Global Commodity Manager - Chemicals Reagents to lead enterprise-wide strategy, sourcing, supplier partnerships, and cost optimization for chemicals and reagents used across waste-to-energy plants and facilities.

You will manage a portfolio including lime, ammonia, urea, water and wastewater-treatment chemicals, carbon products, industrial gases, solidification materials, lubricants, and other chemicals and reagents required by the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 7+ years in strategic sourcing, commodity management, procurement, or related field.
• Experience with chemical industry procurement or strong technical background plus sourcing experience.
• Experience leading category/commodity strategies and supplier performance improvements.
• Ability to manage supplier relationships and complex sourcing events.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% (potential international travel).

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise-wide commodity strategies for chemicals and reagents.
• Oversee sourcing from market analysis through contract execution and benefit tracking.
• Build strategic supplier relationships and conduct supplier reviews.
• Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives balancing site needs and enterprise strategy.
• Provide category-management guidance and mentorship as needed.
• Travel to facilities and supplier locations as required.
