Job summary

CentroMotion in the United States (Wisconsin) is seeking a Senior Buyer to develop and execute procurement strategies for a global supply chain. You will manage supplier relations, procurement processes, and inventory planning to meet customer expectations and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, strong communication, and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and ERP/MRP systems. APICS certification is a plus and relocation is not specified.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in purchasing/procurement roles.
• APICS or similar certification a plus.
• Proficient with Excel and ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute and improve standard purchasing processes for a global supply chain.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams to support production plans.
• Identify new materials, suppliers, and processes to improve quality and cost.
• Support crisis management and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor supplier performance and PO status; address outages and obstacles.
• Optimize inventory levels to ensure on-time delivery and minimize costs.
• Lead PPV projects and drive process improvements as assigned.
• Build strategic relationships across management levels.
• Support plant safety rules and KPIs to meet targets.
