Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in industrial automation or manufacturing engineering.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, networks, and safety systems.
- Experience qualifying and validating manufacturing equipment.
- Experience with robotics, machine vision, and inspection tech.
- Experience with global engineering teams and OEMs.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and standardization of controls architectures and standards.
- Lead qualification, validation, and acceptance testing of automation technologies.
- Conduct machine safety assessments and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with U.S., China, and WH Group teams on technology transfer.
- Partner with OEMs to deploy next-generation automation and digital manufacturing.
- Evaluate processing controls and end-of-line systems for scalability.
- Conduct supplier audits and system validation early in projects.
- Lead capital projects as controls, automation, or engineering lead.
