Job summary

Flexport.org seeks a Global Aid Account Manager to own a portfolio of complex nonprofit partner accounts across ocean, air, trucking, and customs. You’ll lead end-to-end engagements, from RFPs to contract renewals, and act as a strategic partner to mission-driven organizations.

You’ll work with Operations, Pricing, Legal, and Trade Lane teams, drive program growth and retention, and mentor junior teammates while leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency and impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in account management or a partner-facing role, with logistics or humanitarian aid background preferred.
• Proven track record of growing a complex, multi-product book of business.
• Deep understanding of global trade and supply chain operations across ocean, air, trucking, and customs.
• Ability to operate without a playbook in ambiguous or novel situations and write guidelines for others.
• Strong commercial instincts: spotting growth opportunities and closing them.
• Genuine curiosity about the humanitarian and development space and helping partners succeed.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end success for a portfolio of complex, multi-modal Flexport.org partner accounts.
• Lead RFP bids and contract renewals end-to-end.
• Serve as a strategic partner to nonprofits, identifying cost savings, added capability, or faster delivery.
• Lead high-impact business reviews with market context and tailored recommendations.
• Drive expansion across Flexport.org product suite and meet growth/retention targets.
• Collaborate with Operations, Pricing, Legal, Trade Lane Management, and other teams to align solutions.
• Mentor account teammates and share playbooks to raise team performance.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to automate and improve internal and partner-facing processes.
