Job summary

Flexport.org, the humanitarian arm of Flexport, seeks a seasoned account leader to own and grow a portfolio of nonprofit and mission-driven partners. You will analyze partner needs, drive multi-modal logistics improvements, and negotiate favorable contracts while expanding Flexport’s product footprint.

You will collaborate with Operations, Pricing, Legal, and Trade Lane teams to deliver tailored, cost-effective supply chain solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in account management, business development, or a similar partner-facing role.
• Background in logistics, supply chain, humanitarian aid, or international development is preferred.
• Proven track record of managing and growing a multi-product book of business.
• Deep understanding of global trade and supply chain operations across ocean, air, trucking, and customs.
• Comfort in ambiguous situations and ability to write a playbook for others.
• Strong commercial instincts and ability to spot growth opportunities.
• Genuine curiosity about humanitarian and development space and aid logistics.
• Ability to mentor peers and junior teammates.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end success for a portfolio of Flexport.org partner accounts with growth potential and high operational intensity.
• Lead RFP bids and contract renewals end-to-end.
• Serve as a strategic partner to nonprofits and NGOs, analyzing their supply chain to cut costs or move faster.
• Lead high-impact business reviews (QBRs/MBRs) with market context and tailored recommendations.
• Drive expansion across Flexport's product suite to meet growth and retention targets.
• Collaborate with Operations, Pricing, Legal, and Trade Lane Management for aligned solutions.
• Mentor account teammates and share playbooks and best practices.
• Use AI-enabled tools to automate and improve internal and partner-facing processes.
