Job summary

SubroSmart, a leading subrogation management firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our multi-entity, multi-currency environment. You will support month-end close, intercompany activity, and consolidation processes across domestic and international entities from our Plano, TX hybrid office.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, and strong U.S. GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA certification, or active progress toward certification, preferred.
• 4+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a complex multi-entity environment.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accrual-based accounting.
• Experience with foreign currency transactions, multi-currency accounting, or international entities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting packages across multiple entities.
• Support the month-end close process with journal entries, accruals and reconciliations.
• Oversee intercompany billings and settlements for domestic and international entities.
• Record foreign currency transactions and perform remeasurement and translation.
• Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations and analysis.
• Assist with external audits and documentation.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures in line with U.S. GAAP.
• Contribute to internal controls and process improvements.
