Job summary

Egnyte is seeking a Senior G/L Accountant to join our Mountain View team. This role covers journal entries, account analysis, reconciliations, and consolidation activities in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a BA/Finance, 5+ years’ experience, and familiarity with NetSuite, Coupa, and Blackline. On-site presence three days weekly is required, with opportunities to influence processes and accounting policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of progressive work experience.
• Big Four public accounting experience or CPA preferred.
• ASC 842 experience preferred.
• Proficient in Excel; experience with NetSuite, Coupa, Blackline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Period-end close activities with journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis.
• Manage month-end procedures for balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Drive process improvements and system implementations for financial processes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally providing financial insights and reporting.
• Support auditors and facilitate audit requests.
• Develop and enforce high-level accounting policies and controls.
• Work on-site in Mountain View three days per week.
