Job summary

L’Oréal in Berkeley Heights, NJ seeks a Manager, GK POS Sr. Tech Lead to drive the GK POS platform across Salon Centric operations. Lead design, development, and integration efforts with SAP migrations, ensuring robust APIs and data quality.

You will coordinate with offshore teams and mentor a cross-functional IT group. The role requires strong architecture skills, hands-on coding, and a track record in retail IT projects.

Qualifications

• Expert level of GK Omni Point-Of Sales Platform
• Expert level of SQL Server Development (PostgreSQL)
• Deploying integrations with ERP systems (SAP ECC, S4, P360)
• Web APIs (REST & SOAP) with OAuth2
• Batch, PowerShell, VB Script, JavaScript and Python
• BI tools like SSRS/SSIS
• VB.NET / C#.NET, HTML and JavaScript
• DevOps tools: GitHub, Azure DevOps
• Retail background in a similar environment
• Strong Agile transformation experience
• U.S. work authorization - no sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day design and build activities, post-launch monitoring, maintenance and upgrades.
• Write and update source code behind integrations for real-time and batch data flows.
• Lead analysis, redesign and implementation for GK POS after SAP migration.
• Create architectural roadmaps and project documentation for Salon Centric.
• Collaborate on API-based integrations and ensure data consistency.
• Manage deliverables through lifecycle from estimation to delivery and support.
• Promote Agile adoption and Product Oriented Development.
• Communicate status to stakeholders and manage multiple tasks effectively.
