Mano Lani LLC is seeking a Senior Training and Development Specialist to design and deliver technical training for GIS, data management, real property, and related business applications. You will translate complex processes into practical materials for end users and collaborate with subject matter experts and client teams to ensure training meets real-world needs.

The role emphasizes creating clear training materials, hands-on delivery, and ongoing evaluation to improve effectiveness as systems

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in GIS, Information Technology, Education, Instructional Design, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience developing and delivering technical training.
Experience creating training materials, presentations, and user documentation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to explain technical information to users with different experience levels.
Ability to meet applicable client access requirements.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on technical training.
Create lesson plans, presentations, user guides, exercises, job aids, and reference materials.
Evaluate training needs and recommend appropriate learning solutions
Provide training on GIS applications, workflows, data management, and related business processes.
Update training materials as systems, processes, and requirements change.
Develop user manuals, quick-reference guides, and standard operating procedures.
Evaluate training effectiveness and incorporate user feedback.
Provide technical assistance to users following training.
