Job summary

Esri is seeking a geospatial and AEC subject matter expert to guide customers through complex GIS solutions and engagements. You will lead technical meetings, craft strategic approaches, and demonstrate the value of Esri technology across large accounts.

You’ll present to both technical and executive audiences, coach teammates, and drive revenue through tailored GIS deployments and integrations. This role emphasizes collaboration, problem solving, and customer success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Esri technology creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web applications.
• 3+ years of experience in AEC, environmental consulting, or related industries.
• Broad knowledge of ArcGIS from an IT context (hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, cloud).
• Experience in technical consulting and conceptual solution design.
• Understanding of sales and business development processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot client issues related to Esri deployment and system architecture.
• Experience with geodatabases and DBMS technology.
• Cloud concepts in Azure or AWS.
• Integrating software with BI, CRM, ERP, analytics platforms.
• Python and JavaScript programming/scripting experience.
• Strong presentation, interpersonal, and listening skills.
• Ability to travel 25-50% domestically or internationally.
• Bachelor’s degree in geography or related field.
• US work authorization; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships. Present, demonstrate, and support selling Esri software and solutions as part of the account team.
• Be an expert. Lead technical meetings and act as a subject matter expert for AEC and environmental consulting.
• Solve problems. Proactively craft solutions showing GIS value and address client challenges.
• Tell our story. Design and present technical and non-technical content for large customers.
