Job summary

AEP Service Corporation seeks a software professional to design, develop and install software solutions as part of a larger team delivering high quality technology solutions to the business. Design, modify, develop, write, implement and troubleshoot software programming applications.

Support and/or install software applications. Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.
• 5+ years of GIS experience is required.
• GIS coursework/degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and support technology solutions including GIS and spatial capabilities.
• Troubleshoot application, data, and configuration issues using structured problem-solving.
• Collaborate with business partners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Apply GIS concepts to location-based solutions and work with APIs, services, and databases.
• Participate in testing activities across Waterfall or Agile frameworks.
