Job summary

Esri’s Geo Experience team seeks a GIS subject matter expert in Redlands, CA to advise customers on complex business challenges and demonstrate how GIS reveals patterns and insights. You will build relationships, lead technical discussions, and craft solutions that align Esri technology with customer needs.

With 5+ years of Esri experience and strong presentation skills, you’ll travel domestically or internationally up to 25-50% and help customers realize value through innovative GIS deployments

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Esri technology creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web applications.
• 3+ years of experience in various industries.
• Broad knowledge of ArcGIS from an IT context (hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, cloud computing).
• Demonstrated experience in technical consulting and conceptual solution design.
• Understanding of sales and business development processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot client issues related to Esri application deployment and system architecture.
• Experience with geodatabases and underlying DBMS technology.
• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and environments (Microsoft Azure or AWS).
• Experience integrating software solutions with other business systems including data warehousing, BI, CRM, ERP, and analytics platforms.
• Remarkable presentation, interpersonal, and listening skills.
• Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships. Present, demonstrate, and support selling Esri software and solutions as part of the Geo Experience team.
• Be an expert. Lead technical meetings and act as a subject matter expert for Esri technology and various industries.
• Solve problems. Craft solutions that show GIS value and align Esri technology with customer needs.
• Tell our story. Design presentations for technical and non-technical audiences and provide configuration guidance.
