Job summary

Esri, a leader in location intelligence, seeks a GIS Solution Engineer on the commercial team to advise and enable top customers across industries. You will translate business needs into GIS-driven solutions, lead technical discussions, and showcase value through demonstrations and presentations.

You'll partner with enterprise teams, design scalable architectures, and travel domestically or internationally 25–50% as needed to support strategic accounts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Esri technology creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web applications.
• 3+ years of experience in Hi-Tech, Media & Entertainment, Consumer Goods & Services, or Financial Services.
• Broad knowledge of ArcGIS in IT contexts (hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, cloud).
• Experience in technical consulting and conceptual solution design.
• Understanding of sales and business development processes.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with enterprise-level decision makers and lead technical meetings to drive revenue.
• Be a technical leader of Esri technology and industry knowledge to develop complex solutions for strategic customers.
• Craft and propose GIS-driven solutions that align Esri technology with customers’ business needs.
• Design presentations for technical and non-technical audiences and present at conferences and executive engagements.
