Job summary

Esri in Redlands, CA is seeking a geospatial and AEC subject matter expert to advise customers on complex GIS-driven challenges and demonstrate the value of Esri software. You’ll lead technical meetings, craft solutions, and present to both technical and executive audiences.

You’ll bring 5+ years with Esri tech, strong knowledge of ArcGIS, and a background in AEC or environmental consulting. Travel 25–50% domestically or internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Esri technology creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web applications.
• 3+ years of experience in AEC, environmental consulting, or related industries.
• Broad knowledge of ArcGIS from an IT context (hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, cloud computing).
• Demonstrated experience in technical consulting and conceptual solution design.
• Understanding of sales and business development processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot client issues related to Esri application deployment and system architecture.
• Experience with geodatabases and underlying DBMS technology.
• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and environments (Microsoft Azure or AWS).
• Experience integrating software solutions with data warehousing, BI, CRM, ERP, and analytics platforms.
• Remarkable presentation, interpersonal, and listening skills.
• Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships. Present, demonstrate, and support selling Esri software and solutions as part of the account team.
• Be an expert. Lead technical meetings and demonstrate advanced understanding of Esri technology in AEC and environmental consulting.
• Solve problems. Proactively craft solutions that show GIS value and align Esri tech with customer needs.
• Tell our story. Design presentations for technical and non-technical audiences and present at conferences.
